Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Bangalore – Coorg
Arrive Bangalore Airport/ Railway Station Our representative will receive you and transfer you to Coorg. (250 km 5 hrs) Check in to hotel, afternoon leave for a visit to the picturesque Abbi Falls, later proceed to the Raj's Seat the place from where you can enjoy panoramic views of the landscaped Coorg valley enveloped in mist. Overnight stay hotel at Coorg.
Day 02: Coorg
Morning after breakfast we will take you for a full day city tour.Visit Madikeri Fort and to Tala Cauvery the origin of River Cauvery and Bhagamandala ( River Caveri which is one of the 7 sacred rivers of Sapta Sindhus of the Hindu scriptures) the point where Cauvery assumes the shape of a river. Later visit the ancient temples nearby. Evening for shopping (optional )at Madikeri town. Overnight Stay Hotel at Coorg
Day 03: Coorg- Mysore
After breakfast proceed to Mysore on the way visit Srirangapatana which was the capital of King Hyder Ali and his son Tippu Sultan. By noon at Mysore. Check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Mysore Palace it is one of the major attractions of Mysore. Then to Mysore Zoo were you can see some of the rare species of wildlife evening proceed to world famous Brindavan garden expended over 150 acres. The musical fountain and light show adds attraction to the garden. Then return back to the hotel and over night stay at Mysore.
Day 04: Mysore - Ooty
In the morning, after breakfast proceed to Ooty, also known as Udhagamandalam, is the "Blue Mountains"and the capital of Nilgiris district. It is one of the most popular tourist resorts in India. It is a land of picturesque picnic spots. It is located at an altitude of 2,245 meters above sea level. Its way through many hair-raising curves, fearful tunnels and chugs along beside deep ravines full of verdant vegetation, small streams and tea gardens. On your arrival at Ooty check in to the hotel and evening proceed to Coonoor (1839 meters) 19 km from Ooty. Coonoor is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiris. It is surrounded by tea plantations, coupled with ravines, valleys, and waterfalls. A popular leisure here is bird watching. Coonoor is famous for variety of wildflowers and birds, like cormorants, pipits, thrushes, parakeets, skylarks, Nilgiri verditer vultures, eagles and owls, song birds, bulbuls, , babblers, larks cuckoos, robins and several others. Over-night will be stay at the Resort.
Day 05: Ooty
In the morning, after breakfast proceed to full day sight seeing. Make the day maximum rewarding by visiting the following places of interest. Botanical Garden: This 55-acres stunningly beautiful garden beautiful was founded in 1847 by the Marquis of Tweedale.Catherine Falls: It reaches from Kotagiri at a distance of 8 kms. One can have a wonderful view of St. Catherine Water falls which has about 250 feet fall from Dolphin's Nose of Coonoor.Laws Falls: The height of the falls is about 180 feet .The Place is a beautiful picnic spot, situated at Coonoor-Mettupalayam Road at a distance of 7 Kms from Coonoor.Kattery Falls: Kattery falls is one of the highest falls in the Nilgiris situated about 5-km away from Coonoor on the Kendala road.Dolphin Nose: The Dolphin's Nose is 11 kms away from Coonoor.
Day 06: Ooty – Bangalore Departure
Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Bangalore for your onward journey. End of tour.
